I teach 9th grade honors English at a rural school that has quite a bit of poverty. We don't have the budget to buy many books every year. The kids in my classes are voracious readers and love books of all kinds. Many of my students have said that through this pandemic, reading has been a source of enjoyment and I want to keep encouraging them to continue this. I would love to see them with an up to date library in my classroom. I believe that reading can change the lives of students. I am asking if you would be willing to help buy books for my classroom. It would be greatly appreciated.
