  • Kindergarten Gets Creative!

    Thank you so much for your generous donations! The donations went to art supplies for my Kindergarten class. My students LOVE their new materials which included a variety of art mediums. They are able to express themselves creatively using these tools during "choice time" at the end of the day. Kindergarten has become so rigorous and content heavy, that "choice time" at the end of the day is where they can just have fun making art and creating.

    My students love watching all the boxes come in! They clapped and cheered as I unpacked all the boxes! Thank you again!”

    I can not thank you enough for your support in providing my classroom with these materials. Your donations have given my students more options during their "choice time" at the end of the day. They LOVE the magnatiles, which have become their first choice of activities. Through your donation, we have had magnatiles for months now and they still haven't lost their appeal! The students are able to use their creativity and building skills to create masterpieces!

My kindergarteners are learning the foundations of reading. They are building the skills and routines to become avid readers. Every day, children participate in a reading workshop where they read books with a partner to build their reading skills. Our classroom is tiny so the students need to sit on the carpet with their reading partners. Flexible seating will assist students in staying engaged during reading time. Children learn best through interactive activities and through play. There are many materials in my project for students to manipulate, and explore to help them learn best. With these materials, my students will continue to have fun as they learn to read and write.

About my class
