With your help, I'm hoping to redesign and upgrade our classroom library to highlight culturally responsive materials. In order to better foster a love of learning and literature, it's important that students have access to books that serve both as mirrors of their own lives, and as windows into other cultures and experiences as well. With your help, we hope to add a number of culturally responsive titles to our collection that will impact not only this year's class, but incoming classes as well. Additionally, book bins for the shelves will allow us to organize our collection in a way that is more meaningful for students. Our library will have bins for topics such as dealing with grief, stories from immigrant kids, mental health and disabilities, LGBTQ stories, and more! Thank you for helping us further our love of reading!
