As the STEM teacher for every grade in my school, I strive to bring challenging hands-on activities into each classroom so that students can build grit, teamwork skills, and improve their problem solving abilities. These materials will enable my students to design and test their own race cars while learning about force, motion, and the engineering process. as well as learning about force and motion, my students will test different car builds in order to learn about data collection and analysis. PlusPlus is an amazing building tool that can be used for many other activities besides this one project. Their durability ensures that they won't just be beneficial to my students this year but for years to come. Along with the PlusPlus for building race cars, I am asking for magnetic building sticks so that students can design a race course and the index cards and pipe cleaners will be used to build towers and skyscrapers.
