I would like to thank everyone that donated to this art project fund. Art is a great way to spark student engagement and communication in early childhood classrooms. These materials were a great addition to various projects in my pre -k classroom. Cutting and pasting is always a hit in my classroom. Students are able to enjoy independent art activities where they explore materials independently as we as teacher directed activities. Listening to student dialogue as they engage in art is such a joyful thing. hearing them explain their pictures and discuss how their materials are used. Thank you again!”
With gratitude,

Thank you so much for your generosity. We have had the pleasure of using alphabet stickers over the pass few months in my pre kindergarten classroom to increase literacy. Students are increasing their vocabulary by identifying the four pictures that correspond with each letter of the alphabet. After we identify each picture students are then able to write the word for each picture. This helps with letter formation, letter identification and letter sound knowledge. These are all tools in which my students will need as they ensure their next phase of learning which is Kindergarten. Again I thank you for helping me introduce this fun learning tool in my classroom. My students and I love the alphabet books we have created and it was a true fun learning experience.”
With gratitude,

I am seeking supplies for my superhero classroom as well as donations for furniture that was destroyed by hurricane Ida before the start of school. Early childhood students learn through play and need safe, bright furniture where they can enjoy their environment. My classroom was affected by hurricane Ida and had severe flooding. The furniture used to build learning centers were damaged and had to be thrown out. Many manipulative and classroom materials was also damaged. I would love to help provide students with an extraordinary classroom environment. I appreciate all donations.
