  • Kleenex and Scotch Laminator for the Win

    Funded Aug 9, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation. The Kleenex tissues and wipes are very needed in my classroom. Because I teach small children, and it is the time of year when runny noses seem to happen daily. We are very grateful for the Kleenex tissues.

The wipes are also necessary as I have some students who are still in diapers, we use them daily. Without you assistance our days would be even more challenging. we use the wipes in other way. We clean hands and faces when we are outside or not able to wash up.

Because of your help my students can be comfortable, clean, and dry. Thank you!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Anglin

  • Watch Us Grow!

    Funded May 2, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation, your support means that we are able to grow our edible garden using the terra craft potting soil, all purpose soil, and Alaska Emulsion fertilizer. We are also thankful for the organic seed starters, the students were very excited to plant the seeds, observe them as they germinate and put them them into the soil. We mixed the fertilizer into the soil to help the herbs and vegetables grow faster. Watching the students excitedly put seeds into the Jiffy-pots organic seed starters show how engaged they are in the process. Thank you for making this possible.”

    Funded Apr 20, 2023

Thank you for your donations, my students are excited to have the garden beds. We are able to have an edible garden where we are growing vegetables and herbs. We are learning how things grow and the growing process.

Your generosity is helping them experience the joy of learning not just in the classroom, but with outsiders activities like planting seeds in the garden beds you help to provide. The garden beds will help students in different grade levels and abilities experience the challenges of growing different crops. Thank you!”

  • Garden Tools for Success

    Funded Apr 20, 2023

Because of your thoughtfulness my students use the gardening gloves to protect their hands as they plant seeds. They use the mini gardening tools and hand trowels help mix the fertilizer in soil, make holes in the soil and plant the seeds.

Having an edible garden is teaching the students how this grows, it will also allow them to try new foods. We are also sharing the experience with other students in the school. They are all learning that foos don't just come from the supermarket, how to grow different foods, what is needed for plants to grow, and the parts of a plant.

Because of your donation we can accomplish these goals. Thank you!”

  • Water Our Garden with Love

    Funded Apr 20, 2023

My students were very excited when they saw the water hose and sprinkler. We are enjoying watching our edible garden, the students love to help with the watering of the plants. We are planting and watering different vegetables in the garden ( tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, thyme, rosemary, and other herbs and vegetables).

Thank you for your generous donation to our project, without your help it would be very difficult to reach our goal. One of the goals of this garden is to teach the students how things are grown and have them try new foods. Thank you!!”

  • Fidgeting Our Way to Success

    Funded May 9, 2023

My students love the fidget spinners and playdoh, they use them during sensory time daily day or for a reward. Without your generous support my students would have a difficult time with self-regulation.

The playdoh and fidget spinners are their favorite things to do when given options. You have help make sensory time enjoyable and relaxing. We really appreciate you help in funding this project.

  • Flexible Seating for Outdoor Classrooms Part 2

    Funded May 7, 2023

Thank you from all of the students in the Autism unit, we really appreciate your help in funding this project. We are enjoying using our surf portable lap desks.

Being able to enjoy the outdoors while learning is great for the students, it makes a change from being inside most of the day. Without your generous support we would not be able to do some of our learning outdoors. Learning about our environment through outside experiences is an essential part of our educational goals. We are making an edible garden and looking at shade trees. The portable lap desk are essential in reaching these goals. Thank you!! .”

The surf portable lap desk and cart that your generous donations provided to the students in my classroom is greatly appreciate. We are able to have classes outdoors. The cart makes it easier to take the lap desks to different locations outside for learning.

We can move easily change locations because of the chart. My students love using their lap desks outside and sometimes in the classroom. We can learn about the environment while experiencing it, we are learning to grow plants, (vegetables, and herbs) in our edible garden. Thank you!”

  • Sensory Corner for ASD Students

    Funded Sep 21, 2021

Thank you so much for your thoughtful contributions to our class project, "Sensory Corner for ASD students". Though we teach social skills, my students struggle with self-regulation and self-soothing skills due to their disability.

Your generous donations provided a variety of chew toys (for students who need oral stimulation), as well as multiple sensory and fidget toys. Students are able to access these items when they are feeling stressed or anxious, and having one of these toys in their hands allows them to focus and self-soothe so that they can participate in their classroom lessons.

We are so grateful for your support.”

The iPads will be used for sight words, reading, math games and research. These iPads will be used for communication skills as well as a variety of activities. Students will learn how to navigate different apps and applications. The iPads will be used on trips to take pictures and learn how to make collages.
