My school is the largest high school AND the least funded district in CT and the computers we have to use are 7+years old. My current computer is not functioning properly and the district doesn't have another one to assign me. I need this computer to plan professional development for our teachers. The PDs I offer aim to educate teachers on best practices they can use in their classrooms, especially with English Language Learners. Having a new computer will help me help 250+ teachers and 3300+ students on a daily basis. Our teachers need all the help they can get from me and having this computer will enable me to provide the necessary assistance.
