Let's Get Talkin'
Funded Oct 21, 2021I am so beyond grateful for your generosity in funding my most recent project! The materials I've accrued have proved to be both educational and enticing for my students!
Let's start with my handy dandy balloon pump! This toy has provided an array of communication opportunities including - requesting, following directions, Labeling and increasing vocabulary! My kids absolutely love choosing their balloon color, following directions and watching it grow! then the best part... we let it go and watch it deflate in mid air! It's so much fun, promotes joint attention in my youngest students, and elicits meaningful and functional communication!
Another fan favorite are the learning resource
Crayons! The kids get to learn colors, as well as new vocabulary when playing with the variety of objects! This "toy"targets a multitude of educational aspects including colors, counting, labeling and following directions!
Thank you again for your abundant generosity and for helping me deliver for my students! Wishing you all the best!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dana

Funded Sep 30, 2020Thank you so much for your generosity, especially during such unprecedented times!
Your donations helped provide materials to enhance my students' engagement during therapy sessions! It's hard to choose, but the following are three of my favorite items!
Let's start with the READING TRACKERS. I can not begin to explain how many of my students LOVE these, even those who struggle with reading! They are fun to manipulate and help my students stay focused without getting overwhelmed. They are also perfect tools to send home to assist with carryover.
My next favorite item is the felt story telling glove. This item is perfect for providing visuals to engage students during verbal retell of stories as well as a visual support to assist them in including all necessary parts! The best part is that it can be used during both in person and remote learning.
And lastly, I absolutely love the phonemic awareness instant learning center. It requires no prep and is a fun way to reinforce phonemic awareness skills. The kids love the colorful pictures and the ability to "play" by manipulating the blocks!
Once again, thank you so much for your generosity. I look forward to continue using these products with my students for years to come!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dana
