The materials will be used to create art. Students love to be able to express themselves through different mediums. This year will require them to use technology for most of their lessons. I want to offer them some creative outlet away from technology. Recreating a picture of a folktale in modern times or showing everyday life in the style of Faith Ringgold, Andy Warhol, or Horace Pippin. Landscapes, perspective drawing, color theory, and optical illusions. These are a few of the journeys my students will take in the art class. If we do end up teaching remotely, they will have the materials to create at home. Many students did not have the tools at home last spring to create art.
