Why teach measurement? Measurement tools and skills have a variety of uses in everyday life. Measurement is important in providing links between strands of mathematics. For example, it provides a rich and meaningful context for the use of number skills and of spatial concepts. Donating to my students will help them learn Measurable Attributes just a few examples would be the longest, the heaviest, the tallest and the most. With these measurable manipulatives being added to our center you all will make hands on learning so much fun. Can't wait to share the excitement of learning with you all!
