This is my second school year working with students in primarily small groups of 2-4 students. During a typical small group, we are doing a variety of activities to support their learning. We often use paper and pencils, and switch to markers and white boards, and then to a game or other activity. I sometimes work with students 1 on 1 while the others are doing an activity independently. Classroom furniture is often an undervalued aspect of teaching. It can make such difference for students (and teachers) to be comfortable in their learning space and to feel like it is set up in an organized manner. I am hoping to get a table that will allow for a better flow to my small groups throughout each day, and for coming years.
