    Even though they were wearing their mask you could tell they were smiling from ear to ear, The buckets help them focus on a personal fun experience leaving the situation around us behind.

    You made them so happy. I can't express enough their joy, thanks to our Community these kids were able to explore and focus on the joy of being a kid.

  • Story Time Exploration!

    Funded May 3, 2021

    I want to Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to be exposed to different types of literature. We were able to learn the parts of the books, they were able to connect their background knowledge with the stories.

    During our Read Alouds students are introduce to new vocabulary and learn how to apply it, they analyze the story and compare and contrast the characters, we also predict what will happen in the end and what would we do if we were in that situation.

    Since these books are age-appropriate, very colorful, and we attached a STEM activity to the story all the students are hooked to the stories.

These new picture books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind; they will be able to enjoy these books as a class, which will help them get excited for reading and eager to explore the books independently as well. With these new books, my students will be able to experience new worlds apart from their own, and become immersed in the stories they tell. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students love reading books as a class and would be so grateful to add these to our growing collection!

About my class
