Calculators for Statistics Students

We just started the spring semester at BHSEC Queens. In the fall, we had four sections of statistics, all of which used these calculators in class and on quizzes. Recently, This semester, they are still being used by our statistics students, and now we're using them in precalculus, too. Students are learning how to use calculators and we're able to work on a wider variety of questions in class. For example, in statistics, we are calculating z-scores and percentiles using the normal distribution; in precalculus we are solving problems using the law of sines and the law of cosines.”
