Your contribution will allow us to build community around an exciting new novel and teach our eighth graders how to write a strong book report using textual evidence. We need class sets of "Children of Blood and Bone" to be used by our eighth graders for their next book report. We have searched high and low for a text that is engaging, culturally relevant and that features teenage characters. We are so excited to get our youth reading Tomi Adeyemi's debut novel. Our brains, classrooms and teachers are ready; all that's missing is the text. Once the books have been used by our eighth graders ,we hope to make them available to any class that wishes to use them by storing them in our awesome School Library. This means your gift will keep on giving!
