Better Technology in School
Funded Oct 15, 2021Thank you for sponsoring and supporting our classrooms throughout America. As we all know, our children are the future and we should provide them with all the right tools to help them succeed. As for my classroom, my students could not believe I was donated a iPad. I can start off by saying that my students sometimes struggled when using the in-school computers, many would restart randomly and others would just not work. The iPad not only helps me monitor students' work on real-time but also helps me with everyday tasks such as imputing grades, sending emails, and evening messaging parts.
We will continue using the iPad for testing, i-Ready and other programs used in our county to assess student performance. No words can describe on how grateful we are for your donation.”

Creative Minds at Work
Funded Nov 6, 2019Thank you for sponsoring and supporting our classrooms throughout America. As we all know, our children are the future and we should provide them with all the right tools to help them succeed. As for my classroom, my students could not believe all the supplies I received. I can start off by saying that my students were lacking basic pencils and erasers needed for certain tasks and thanks to your generous donations we now have all the supplies that we need. I gave each student a mechanical pencil they can use during class. We created individualized Ziplock pencil cases for various items such as erasers, pencils and sharpeners. They were extremely surprised to see the new Cricut machine and the heat transfer machine.
Upon receiving the items, and learning on how to operate the Cricut machine, all I can say is that the difference has been lifechanging. With its many features and countless functions, the possibilities are endless in what it can do. We made Christmas cards for students parents, created flipbooks with sight words, and even finger puppets to illustrate our reading lessons.
We will continue using the laptop for testing, i-Ready and other programs used in our county to assess student performance. The Cricut will be the design maker for our future projects, activities and classroom decor. No words can describe on how grateful we are for your donation.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Polanco
