MACing Dreams Come True!
Funded Oct 25, 2013I would like to give my sincere thanks for your participation in helping fund our Donors Choose project. The boys and girls have really enjoyed incorporating the Macbook Air into our daily learning routine. We have used the Mac in all subject areas, including Math. They are learning new tricks to use this valuable resource and are even sharing some new tips with me. I believe there are endless possibilities on how to use the Mac for research, group projects, individual technology needs, etc. in our classroom. I appreciate your willingness to help MAC our dreams come true!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Rose
Touching the World With Our Fingertips
Funded Jul 6, 2013I would just like this opportunity to thank you again for your generous donation for our classroom. It truly has made a significant difference in the short amount of time that we have had it.
The boys and girls were thrilled to receive the iPad mini and were shocked to open the box and find it nestled inside. I did not let them in on the surprise and was able to capture their expressions with photographs. They were thankful that I took the time this past summer to write a project to enhance the technology materials in our classroom.
Currently, the students and I are both utilizing the new iPad mini at home and school. The students are using the iPad for research purposes as we are working on research projects in the classroom. They have also used the iPad mini for photography purposes. We are able to share class photos immediately with their parents, which they appreciate. The size of the mini is perfect for the students, not too bulky. They truly do love it and don't mind sharing with one another.
For myself, I am able to do searches on the iPad at home which increases the quality of my planning. I am able to load educational apps that pique the students' interest. It is compact and doesn't take up too much space.
Overall, this is a phenomenal technology resource for myself and my students. I appreciate you being a part of this with us!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Rose
