• Good Snacks for Great Athletes

  I am so excited to see that this project has been funded. I can't wait to go to school on Monday and let the students know they will have healthy snack options to help fuel them though practice. The support of the DonorsChoose community is overwhelming and I feel so blessed to know so many people that value public education as much as you do. • A Volleyball Banquet To Remember

• It's Snack Time!

  You will never know how much your generosity helped my students. They were able to focus on school and athletics instead of thinking about the uncomfortable noises coming from their stomachs. Some of our students are present at school from 7:00 am until 6:30 pm and this could be very difficult without having snacks to hold them over.

• Wow, There Are Characters Who Look Like Me?

  I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity. My students are going to be so excited. They will love seeing people who look like them in books that they read. Thanks again I can't wait for the resource to arrive. I enjoy the look on my students' faces when I show them new supplies. My students do not have much. So when I am able to introduce them to something new I love it. They are great kids who just need a break. With all the problems in there lives I like to feel like I'm there for them always whether it is in life, school, or after school clubs.”

• It's Showtime!

  We are incredibly thankful for the project that you helped fund for our classroom. Students have started researching how to use the machines to create and design t-shirts for the productions. We just finished our Lion King KIDs production and a few students were able to create original t-shirts to give away as door prizes. They were so proud of their creations.

  Without donors like you, this creative project could not have happened. Our students will continue to learn more about the products and will set a goal to create the cast shirts for the entire cast in the next production. Thank you again for your support.”

My scholars and I are so very appreciative of your support for education and for helping to provide books and prizes for their online learning experience. • Bump, Set, Spike It, That's the Way We Like It!

  I cannot thank you enough for contributing to this project. I was able to purchase uniform bottoms and shorts to go over the uniform bottoms for the volleyball team. This was the first year our team actually "looked like a team" on and off the court.

  I could see the pride in their eyes while wearing the uniforms. This pride continued on the court as they felt more confident and ended up leading our team to the championship for the first time ever.

  I know it seems small, but it all started with a pair of shorts and generosity from donors like you. Thank you for impacting my students in such a unique way.”
