In my classroom, we use technology all the time. Students are definitely more engaged during lessons involving technology, and their excitement and understanding of learning has increased. In Reading, my students use Imagine Learning, an award winning language and literacy program. On Imagine Learning, students listen to lessons and read in a mic to practice and improve essential reading skills. Properly working headphones are important for students to maximize learning with technology programs. Being able to use these programs and moving at their own pace will increase their confidence as they continue to challenge themselves in reading. These programs are not very effective if students are trying to hear and read against the noise of other Chromebooks.
