Sensory play gives students opportunities to develop motor, cognitive, language and social skills. For this project, I want to focus in the social/emotional developmental aspect. My students are learning how to interact with each other and they still have difficulty learning how to problem solve their own conflicts. This sensory table will allow me to create opportunities for my students to learn how to negotiate, share and interact with each others. This project will support my students' social/emotional development through hands on activities by playing with sand, water, and other sensory materials. My students will enjoy having a sensory table.
