I have the honor of working with 20 enthusiastic 5 & 6 year old children who attend a public school in the northeastern part of the US. The children come to school each day either by bus or by car ready to start a new learning adventure! The children are very invested in their school & their own learning. We use a lot of technologies to help make our learning interactive as well as making opportunities for reflection and design. The children make podcasts, voicethreads, blog and use wiki's to help promote the authentic learning that is happening in their classroom. Families of the children are also very much integrated into our daily life. Many of their families help their child blog, give feedback, and participate in outreach opportunities outside of our classroom walls. We work hard to make communication and connections seamless within our classroom, other collaborations that avail themselves in our sc
