The students in my classroom due to current COVID-19 restrictions are unfortunately not able to get the one on one; hands on interaction that they need to learn how to manipulative and understand phonics. We are having to be innovative in getting each student their own individualized progressive reading plans and using an adaptive computer program is key. We have a fantastic online reading program that takes the students responses and individualizes their progress, but it is noisy when 20+ students are listening to and trying to understand what is being asked of them. In the past, we have been able to have smaller amount of headphones and share them, but this year we need a head set for each individual student. As a Kindergarten teacher, this means I need at least 40 pair of headphones. Please help me enhance the effectiveness of my students learning and assist me in getting headphones for each individual student.
