Puzzles and Play-Doh
Funded Feb 9, 2022Thank-you so much for donating to our classroom! Some new activities are just what my students need to stay engaged through the rest of the school year. My students will enjoy practicing their ABC's with some new toys, working on puzzles, and using playdoh to help with sensory regulation and fine motor skills. Thanks for making our classroom a brighter place!”

Funded Dec 13, 2021Thank-you so much for helping our classroom to be able to purchase some much needed essentials. My students have been enjoying the breakfast items and the snacks. They have allowed us to practice our communication skills as well, working on requesting preferred items. The Clorox wipes are a classroom essential at any time when you're working with young students, but especially right now. It is so nice to be able to keep our space clean and germ-free. It has also been very nice not to worry about toileting essentials because I know we have a good supply on hand. I really appreciate you helping me to keep my students, clean, safe, and healthy!”

Funded Nov 18, 2021Thank-you for your donation that allowed us to get a comfortable mat to sit on for our morning meetings. My students enjoy using the space not only for calendar and talking about the weather, but also as a place to sit when they are using iPads or looking at books. It has also brought some color and coziness into our room, making it a more inviting space for learning. As a teacher of little ones, I appreciate that it is so easy to wipe off, and that I can fold it up and store it if we need that space for something different. So much of what is in our classroom has been provided by generous people like you, and my students and I are forever grateful.”

Dazzling Work Displays
Funded Sep 23, 2021Thank-you for helping to make our classroom and cleaner and more welcoming space. The clorox wipes and broom have been helping us to keep our room clean and sanitized, and have allowed us to work on some independent skills when we make a mess. The rope, clips, and magnets have been a great way to display our work, both inside and outside of the classroom. It is so great to get to show off what we have been working on, and to make our classroom a warm and inviting space. We are so excited to continue learning and displaying our work!”

Funded Aug 19, 2021Just simply saying "Thank-You" does not seem like enough. My students have been so excited to use the puzzles and other hands-on learning items every day. The counting pegs, ABC popsicle match, and ABC eggs have been a great way for us to practice our early literacy and numeracy skills. The floor cushions have been wondeful for us to gather for morning meeting and for listening to books in the afternoon. In addition, all of my students love to bounce on the trampoline as a sensory break from the classroom. We really appreciate your help in having a comfortable, fun learning space.”

Funded May 4, 2021We are so grateful for our new sensory items and paints/craft items. The pop-its and stretchy bands were very helpful when my students needed to sit and be quiet for an award ceremony at school. The students were also able to use the paints to decorate some canvases that now hang in our classroom. It's nice to brighten up the space with their creative works! We have been using the new paint dobbers to practice letters, numbers, sight words, and making patterns. My students really thrive on having items that give us a multi-sensory approach to learning, and we really appreciate that this project has allowed us to do that!”

Classroom Organization to Foster Independence
Funded Nov 3, 2020We have been virtual this entire school year (with the exception of one week in November) but I am so excited to see how the new organizational materials help my kids when we return in April.
The materials provided have allowed me to sort all of our toys, sensory items, and learning materials into clear, organized bins. This allows students to independently choose the items they want from the cabinet, and ensures that when we clean-up, our materials end up back in the right place.
The locker shelves were very helpful in organizing the extra clothing I keep for students in my room, just in case. You never know what's going to happen in a K-2 Autistic Support classroom!
My students and I really appreciate your generosity in helping our classroom to be an organized and welcoming space.”

Flexible Seating for Wiggly Kids
Funded Oct 23, 2020My students have been learning virtually for most of the school year, but we did get to enjoy our new seating for a week in November. My kids LOVED being able to choose some new seating options, and a few of them had already picked their favorite between the wobble stools or bouncy chairs for working at a table.
My students also enjoyed the comfy bean bag chair for taking breaks, looking at books, or using an iPad in a space different than their desk. It was great to see them have some autonomy in choosing their favorite seating.
Even in just a few short days, I could see the difference in giving my kids who always need to move a seat that allows them to do so! I cannot wait to return to the classroom in April and let all of my students continue to try out our new seats and pick which ones work best for them!”
