Majority of the students I handle have learning disabilities. They have Math anxiety and they have very low tolerance when faced with challenges, frustrations and roadblocks. I used different ways to hook them into learning and redirect their attention by reminding them of their ultimate goal which is to regain their lost credits and finally have their diploma.One of the specific tool they need is the calculator. We have very limited number of calculators in school. The calculators we have has to be shared between two classrooms and if the number of students exceed the available calculators, then it creates frustrations. Hopefully with the help of donors.org, this need will be solved. Thank you so very much in advance for sponsoring our needs.
