• Help 3rd Graders Blast into Outer Space!

  I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of our 3rd graders and the entire staff at Bricolage Academy, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our outer space enrichment project.

  With your support, we were able to introduce our students to the wonders of the universe through engaging resources. The books you helped provide have sparked their imaginations and deepened their understanding of space. Creating 3-D models of the solar system not only enhanced their artistic skills but also fostered teamwork and critical thinking among the students. And of course, enjoying space ice cream was an exciting treat that made learning about outer space even more fun!

• Diverse Enrichment Books for 4th Grade!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and for funding my project. Four 4th grade ELA classes were provided with class sets of books for book clubs and choice books for all students. Your donation helped students to get excited about their current ELA unit.

  This project also provided students with books about extreme settings that included diverse representation. Students can see themselves represented in these books. Often, ELA curriculums are limited in their representation of characters. Your donation allowed us to supplement their current curriculum and choose books where all students can feel seen and heard.

• Supplies for a Diverse Group of Curious and Enthusiastic Learners!

  Thank you so much for contributing supplies to my classroom! Your donation provided support to the whole class and to students at an individual level. My students are enthusiastic and grateful for your donation!

  Reading time is one of our favorite times of days. With your donation, students are able to use whisper phones during this time to help improve their fluency in reading. Many 2nd grade readers still benefit from reading out loud during independent reading. Whisper phones help them to do this at a lower volume and so that they can still practice their reading fluency! The noise cancelling headphones have also benefitted students who like a quiet setting when reading and doing independent work.

  The wiggle seats and seat bands are benefitting students who need to wiggle while learning. They have been greatly used and appreciated in my classroom! Thank you!!!”
