  • Differentiated Materials

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

In a preschool setting, the use of differentiated materials is essential for supporting the diverse needs and learning styles of young children. For daily activities, students engage with visual schedules featuring removable, velcro-backed icons, helping them understand and follow the day's routine. These icons can be easily manipulated by students, allowing them to take an active role in sequencing activities. Learning centers are equipped with activities at varying levels of complexity, such as counting bears, number puzzles, and laminated number cards, which can be written on with dry-erase markers for repeated practice and error correction.”

  • Creative Tools

    Funded Jan 23, 2023

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation towards the purchase of various art and educational supplies for our Peg It Number Boards program. Your contribution has greatly enriched the learning experiences of our students, and we are truly thankful for your support.

With your donation, we were able to acquire a wide range of materials that will not only engage our students but also enhance their creativity and critical thinking skills. The items you provided, including the Fabric Brushes, Messy Mats, Kaplan Dough, Paint Brushes, Watercolor Paint Trays, Construction Paper, Rainbow Paint Markers, Jumbo Triangular Pencils, and many others, have significantly expanded our art and hands-on learning resources.

The impact of your generosity will be felt by our students for years to come. The Peg It Number Boards program enables our students to develop their mathematical skills while fostering their creativity and problem-solving abilities. Your support has not only helped us improve their learning environment but has also instilled in them a sense of excitement and motivation to explore and learn.

On behalf of our entire school community, I want to convey our heartfelt appreciation for your commitment to education and your belief in the power of learning through hands-on experiences. Your contribution will make a lasting difference in the lives of our students, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Once again, thank you for your kind support. We are honored to have you as a partner in our mission to provide quality education and meaningful experiences for our students. We will be sure to share updates and photos of our students engaging with the supplies you generously donated.”

  • Raising Readers!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Our students did not have books on cd as an option in the library and this was disheartening as our students cannot read independently but benefit from exposure. They are now able to manage the cd player independently and turn the pages according to the audio prompt. Students can follow along the audio with the words on the page and practice directionality and associate images to the words from the cd player. The big books provides larger images and texts for students to easily view and follow along with the teacher. We appreciate your support and are grateful for these necessary resources.”

  • Classroom Supplies

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

You have provided our students with a beautiful easel for them to create beautiful and unique work. This provides them the eye-hand coordination practice needed and space to express their creativity. The easel has also provided the space needed for them to access supplies independently. Students have also utilized their new watercolor paints. This has been a calming activity for students to create at the table. All of this would not have been possible without the additional rolls of easel paper, watercolor paper and construction paper. Thank you again for your support.”

  • Social Emotional Needs

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Our order included age-appropriate social-emotional stories for our students to listen to and reference throughout the day. Each story provided an emotion with appropriate coping methods. While using these stories we were able to use the emotion mirror to identify and reflect on our emotions. We were also able to identify the emotions of others and determine the best course of action for them to cope. Social-emotional development is crucial in our classroom. Our young learners have big feelings and struggle with them day to day. This order has aided in their development for years to come.”

  • Sensory/Sand/Water Table

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Our students enjoy sensory play. Having a sand table in the room for them fulfills that need while exploring texture and exercising eye-hand coordination. Students build muscles strength while lifting and distributing sand at the table. They are able to practice taking turns, sharing objects, and language development. We are able to hide images and objects in the sand table and encourage students to identify, find and match. Our students are enjoying their new sand table each day and discovering new ways to engage with it.”

  • Artists in the Making

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students have utilized all of the materials supplied by your support. They were excited to see new paper to draw and paint on. Students used the construction paper to become creative artists and show their family members and share their favorite aspects of the days read aloud. We used the laminating sheets ton increase the durability of student photos used in the classroom to take attendance, answer questions of the day and to transition to centers during choice time. Students use the modeling clay during our transportation unit to create models of vehicle of their choosing. We really appreciate all the support and supplies you have provided.”

  • We Are Ready!

    Funded Oct 24, 2020

Our students were excited to receive the supplies they needed to engage in academic activities at home. The pencils, crayons, and markers allowed them to build their fine motor skills, practice writing their letters, and names, and draw beautiful pictures. The bags allowed us to supply each child with specific products to meet their unique needs. Parents often felt overwhelmed and the small sensory toys provided in their supply bag gave parents an opportunity to address their sensory needs during an educational activity.”
