I would like to offer opportunities for my students to experience different seating options in their kindergarten classroom. I am requesting 8 sturdy metal stools. These stools would provide them a different option compared to the chairs at their tables. Changing up their seating position will encourage them to be more engaged and on task. They come to my small group table every day for math and reading groups. Often they are slumping over in the chairs. The stools will encourage my active student to sit more upright. It will also encourage their bodies to be situated toward the table and our lesson.
