My school is data driven. We take our results of assessments and classroom activities to determine our next move. These students are familiar with graphing their data from assessments, tracking their multiplication facts, and celebrating their successes. Students are in control of their learning by having access to all materials; having these seat sacks would provide convenience and organization. Students are expected to graph their results of class activities and assessments. They currently keep their data notebooks in the window seal. My students would be much more likely to use these data notebooks to contribute to their own success if the notebooks were in an accessible location, such as in the seat sack on their chair. With 20 students in a smaller classroom, I prefer to keep the chaotic movement to a manageable level.
