This project will help improve the learning at our school and give students better test scores and take in information easier. By having a healthy breakfast, students will have a great day because they will have more protein and be able to focus on their learning. Having a healthy breakfast that is quick and easy to consume (like poptarts, nutrigrain bars, apple sauce, and cereal/cereal bars) will give students the energy to start the day. Students that eat breakfast have a lower level of bad LDL cholesterol and a lower chance of getting diabetes. Additionally, students gain a higher resistance to getting illnesses and other diseases. Eating a balanced breakfast also helps with obesity and maintaining a healthy diet. The point for all is to promote healthy breakfast. The costumes will make students excited in the morning and give them awareness to eating healthy breakfast.
