Our students need tools and materials in order to be successful. Students with special needs benefit from small group instruction and we currently do not have the materials or furniture for it. Many students in our classroom are socially and emotionally disturbed and need guidance when it comes to dealing with feelings and emotions. We want to use the net curtains to create a safe space in our classroom and set up a "Cool Down Center" if they need a break. Our students are motivated and enjoy working in a comfortable space, which is what we would use the rug for. We have many students in our classroom classified with ADHD, who benefit from movement throughout the day, the wobbly stools will be for those students who need the movement while working.
