My most reluctant readers love to read graphic novels. I want to provide them with a variety of graphic novels to help them branch out in their reading habits. I want our new to country students to have the support of the visuals in graphic novels as they learn English. Having access to graphic novels, will help build a love of all kinds of reading as well as literacy. Reading graphic novels builds fluency, literacy, and confidence in their reading skill. The graphic novels I have never stay on the shelves, and some are so well loved that they never get brought back. I want to replenish and expand my graphic novel section.

About my class
