These materials will be used during small group instruction throughout the day. In small groups, we will be using these reading games to learn our letters and sounds. We will also be learning how to blend and read. The games are focused on sounds, letter names, and blending. Once these games are used in small group time and the students know how to play them, we can put the games in the independent group for group time. The doctor's kit and food kit will be used during small groups to have the students engage in conversations. This will help build their oral language. The students like to make food for their friends and teachers.
