A reading corner should be a warm and inviting place that students enjoy. The selections I have made to enhance the classroom reading corner will create this feeling and will aide in building a love of reading. I purposely chose posters and room decorations that will create a positive atmosphere and mindset in the classroom. As a first year teacher many of the supplies requested are to create a print rich environment for my students that I will be able to use for many years to come. Crayons, pencils, erasers, glue sticks, whiteboard markers, lapboards and scissors are necessary tools that are used in the classroom daily. These items will give us the opportunity to perform without worrying that any student does not have the proper tools to complete the task at hand. In addition, the disinfectant wipe and hand sanitizer will help keep our classroom and students healthy and in the classroom.

About my class
