• Come Alive Through Books!

  Thank you for donating toward our project, "Come Alive Through Books!" My students love to be read to. They love to look at the pictures as myself or one of my paras are reading to them. Even though my students are nonverbal you can see the enjoyment and excitement of being read to come alive in their eyes, smiles and body movement.

  Some of the books that were selected for this project dealt with dealing with emotions and being kind to ourselves and to others. These books have helped my students to explore their emotions in a more positive way.”

• Swinging Fun for All!

  Thank you so much for funding our project "Swinging Fun For All". You have given our students that are unable to play on the playground equipment something to look forward to. They are getting to enjoy recess and have fun and are not having to stay in their wheelchairs and watch the other students. Seeing their faces light up that they get to have fun and enjoy recess time like their peers brings such joy to us as teachers. We are so thankful for generous donations to our projects to help bring that enjoyment to our students. Thanks again so much.”

• Feed Those Growling Stomachs!

  Thank you so much for donating towards our classroom project, "Feed those Growling Stomachs." These resources are being used to help those students that do not send snacks or those that do not have money to purchase a snack.

  The students were so excited to have a variety of snacks to choose from at snack time. Some are enjoying snacks during morning time stations because they keep getting belly aches before lunch.

  By receiving the funds for this project, we are able to feed the students so they are focused on learning. We have several projects in the making for our classroom to be a fun and successful learning environment.

• Learning Differently Is Fun!

  Thank you so very much for donating towards our classroom project, ' Learning Differently is Fun." Our classroom has enjoyed the different hands on manipulatives that were included in this project. It is people and organizations like you that make our classroom a fun and learning environment. My students get so excited when new items are introduced and put into stations. You can see the excitement in their eyes and hear it in their voices. New items keep the students engaged and eager to learn new and different things in an exciting new way.   Thank you so very much for donating towards our classroom project. Our students are part of a Multisensory Lifeskills classroom. Our students learn by hands on activities and play. We do a lot of activities with with arts and crafts supplies and a lot of movement with music. The items in this project were selected to help our students learn and grow in ways that are comfortable to them.
