The materials I have chosen were mindfully selected based on observations of how most of our 1st semester has been so far. In our classroom, there are a limited amount of outlets to charge student devices. This creates a problem when the students need to see my screen to learn, thus a need for a projector. When the students are using tablets, everyone has their volume on because the tablets direct them and read to them because they are still in kinder and need that guidance this is a need for headphones that they can leave at school and call their own. A standing desk would make navigating through the classroom much easier, without losing everyone's attention or neglecting half of the class. It would also be much more flexible for me, having not to sit all day. A 100s chart is a big deal for these guys. I would love for them to be able to see one in person and be able to play with the numbers. They are currently memorizing how to jump count to 100 by 10s. The treasure box and incentives are special for the kids. In these times it is very easy for them to lose focus and having those extra things will give them extra motivation to keep trying and push through the long days of being behind the computer all day. Thank you for reading about our classroom needs and we are grateful for any donations!
