This is our 11th year taking kids up the the mountains. Our trip every year is to offer a retreat for our students, away from their phones, away from their everyday worries and give them a collaborative environment to prep for their upcoming AP Calculus exam in May. We take 100 high school students and get them to work 8+ hours a day on math. They're excited, they're learning and they're collaborating as they work on calculus together. Along with all their hard work, we'll have s'mores, something many of our students have never experienced. There will also be a nacho night and even karaoke happen.

About my class
