Sand Creek International School is fortunate to have a licensed music teacher this year. I teach Kindergarten through fifth-grade students. My students are so excited to learn about beat, self-expression, instrumental techniques, rhythms, melody, and improvisation. They have even learned how to compose. My students will develop their social-emotional skills through music in the areas of "Sense of Belonging, Social Awareness, Grit, Self-Efficacy, and Emotion Regulation."
