A huge part of making music together is learning how to listen to, and play in tune with, each other. These tuners give the students a visual target as they learn what "in tune" sounds like. It shows them if they are sharp, flat, or playing in just the right place. They help the students as they learn to use and trust their ears in an ensemble setting. This tool is a huge help in making students into musicians. As they feel more confident with their own instrument and their own sound, it allows them to contribute more to the full ensemble.
