The students who come into my classroom need practice reading books, at the level they are currently at. Instead of jumping into hard books, they start exactly where they are, then build their own reading skills up while working with a volunteer tutor. The tutors come into the classroom, and with the student, select an interesting book they will read together. Many of the books we have are worn out and need replacing. The volunteer tutors and students, learn to work well as a team. We have seen great success in our student reading abilities. I love it! Thanks for checking this out!
