Through student led practice, art projects, physically active games, and more students get to create memories and obtain knowledge in areas such as mental health, physical and nutritional health, substance abuse prevention, relationship skills, self awareness and self identity, disease prevention and more. Funding for supplies such as fake foods for nutritional games, help kids be more active and have fun while they are learning. Art supplies such a side walk chalk, help students to engage with one another and create chalk art that reflects their knowledge of healthy food choices and calorie needs. Poster making supplies help students create artwork that helps raise awareness about: substance abuse, mental health, infectious and non infectious disease, and prevention tactics. Their artwork will hang in the school to help inform younger peers and serve as a reminder to those who have already learned these health skills.
