With film photography comes a higher budget. I came in halfway through the year and the budget has been exhausted. The students are enjoying their film photography class but there isn't enough film or supplies to allow the students to photograph their own roll of film. I allowed students to work in groups but towards the end of the semester. I would like each student to be able to explore their art in photography further by allowing them to shoot a roll of film and developing on their own. Students are going to find a new appreciation with an art form that isn't used anymore these days. They will then lead up to photographing digital and will have the background knowledge of film. I'm giving the students an opportunity of a lifetime.
