    Funded May 14, 2024

Donating to our project has had an immediate impact on the students involved. Their excitement upon hearing the news of your donation was palpable, and they have been eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to go shopping for goodies in the store. The picture and set up of the shopping experience clearly show how much this means to them.

So far, the students have been thrilled with their choices, particularly enjoying items such as the Glo In The Dark Glasses Pack, journals, and sketch pads. These moments of joy and excitement are ones that they will remember forever, thanks to your generosity in supporting our project.

We are grateful for your contribution and for being a part of creating these special memories for our students. Your donation has made a significant difference in their lives, and we cannot thank you enough for your support.”

    With gratitude,

  • Financial Literacy and Happy Bellies!

    Funded Apr 30, 2024

Again, thank you so much for donating to our class project. The resources are being carried out just as intended! When I informed the students of the project getting funded, they were ecstatic because they'd almost lost some hope. But seeing their faces light up as the boxes were being delivered was worth the wait.

We have conducted one round of class store since the resources came. It was exciting to see them use their recent understanding of financial literacy in making their purchases. Some of what I heard was "if I get this and that, I won't be able to pay my rent on Monday". Or "Do you think you should spend all your money right now? We will be doing class store again".

Thank you so much for helping make our class community and societal goals come to fruition.”

  • Marching Through Reading Month With Our Affirmation Heroes!

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

We would like to thank you for your generous donation to our reading month fundraiser. The students who received books were ecstatic to have their very copy of such an inspirational piece of literature.

As you can see in the attached photos and videos, students have even created their own affirmations that they say before starting their day. The impact this project has had on the students has been incredible and none of that could have been accomplished without you generous gesture. It is people like you that make a difference in lives.”

  • Crusing Into Grade 5!

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

Thank you for your donation to this class project. Since receiving the items, our year has been off to a great start. Students were excited for the supplies they received and our classroom has been conducive to achieving our learning goals. The students' favorite item of the project is the bookshelf because we have created a mini library and they are able to check out unlimited number of books to take home and read. I have noticed students reading more, not only in class, but most of them are also taking home books.

Thank you and I hope you continue to impact lives of students everywhere!”

  • Stealthy, Silent, and Succesfful!

    Funded Jan 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution to our project. The students have enjoyed the standing desk as I have been able to be more mobile around the classroom. Most incredibly, the students had the best time working on their Black History Month projects using the poster boards that were purchased. As you will see in the attached photos, the results of the research projects were phenomenal.

When I informed my students that our project was funded, they were elated. As they worked in groups on their BHM projects, they would always ask, "will the donors see our projects?", and I assured them!

Thank you so much for making this possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sampson

Thank you for your donations to our classrrom project. Our items that we received have allowed us the abitilty to be extrememly successful this year. Our class is organized and clean, which gives us more time to focus on instructions. The students were extremely excited when we received the packages and were abe to set up our classroom in a way that is beneficial to us academically. Additionally, I have been able to bring student-created resources to life and we use those in the cassroom on a daily basis.

  • Operation: We Got This!

    Funded Sep 16, 2021

Thank you so much for for your donation to our class. Because of your kindness, we have been able to increase our classroom participation and be more involved with lesson plans. The earphones, especially, made simultaneous virtual and in-person learning possible because students can work in groups as well as individually without disturbing each other or distracting the class. Additional, the white boards have made math and other lessons so much more fun. Students are able to actively participate in each lesson while still remaining safe. My students and I are extremely grateful for your donations.”

  • Our Team is Not Complete if One Member is Missing!

    Funded Dec 9, 2019

Again, thank you for the generosity to my classroom project. As a class of now 11, we are able to not only have a place/corner to cool down, but also a place to gather and socialize with each other.

There are not enough words to express how impactful your donation was to our classroom. We have been able to accomplish our goal of everyone being present and the classroom and participating in whole-group instructional learning. With you donation, we decided on a spot in our classroom that we deemed the cool down corner / gathering corner.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I was extremely grateful to have a cool down table available for one of my students. I could tell this student was having a hard day, she simply needed to relax and reset without having to leave the classroom. I sent her to the cool down corner where she was able to reset AND get instructions.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sampson

This year, I have put emphasis on our class being a team. Our team is not complete if one of our teammates is missing. Our team cannot be successful if one teammate doesn’t contribute their unique talent. As a team, we decided that one of our goals is to have full attendance and full participation every single day. To help achieve this goal, we realize that a cool down corner/reading nook would be beneficial to our classroom. This will help achieve our goal because it will allow for students to have a place to cool down/reset from any frustrations without having to leave the classroom and miss instructional time.
