  • Getting Comfy in Whole Group Instruction!

    Funded Nov 6, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. Your thoughtfulness does not go unnoticed.

I can’t wait to see my students faces when we roll out our new rug for circle time and use the colored paper in the classroom to support social emotional and academic learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brooke

  • A Cozy Safe Place for Whole Group Instruction!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for the donation for the classroom rug and word materials! Our class was so sad that the classroom rug was out of stock. With the money we raised we were able to get educational learning materials to help support ela, math and social emotional learning skills.

Our students were so excited when I presented them with our packages. We looked at each item and chose our favorites. The class favorites included the stress balls, number tracers and playdough. Student's were excited to share their favorites and explore their new classroom materials after writing thank you notes!

We truly appreciate your thoughtfulness in donating to our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brooke

  • Ipad's Bridging the Communication Gap For Students Who Are Nonverbal

    Funded Jan 24, 2020

I am so excited to know that such wonderful people stepped up to help my students be better readers and learn to love reading. I can't thank each of you enough for your kindness and generosity. The iPads will make such a difference for my students. I can not wait to see their faces when the supplies arrive but more importantly I can not wait to see the excitement on their faces when they are learning through educational games! Watching students love learning is one of the greatest joys of my job. Thank you again for helping to give my students the tools they need to be as successful as possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brooke

Learning math concepts can be challenging for any students, especially, for students who rely heavily on visual learning and have difficulty maintaining focus for extended periods of time. With the use of iPad's and technology, I have seen my students, who demonstrate those struggles as well as others, retain math concepts that they often struggle with. With the use of technology in the classroom, my students can engage in interactive math games and videos to extend their knowledge base. By implementing iPad's in the classroom students can practice key skills such as number recognition, sorting, and addition in a way that doesn't distract other students throughout the day and focus' on their strengths rather than their struggles.
