My preschool classroom is a busy environment. We transition from large group activities such as morning meeting, story time, and music and movement to small group learning centers throughout the day. The students often display short attention spans and have difficulty attending to a task for short periods of time. Cube chairs will give the students a space of their own which will increase the students' independence, participation, and learning. Cube chairs provide each student with their own space that will help them sit and attend independently. The cube chair gives the students extra support, comfort, and structure to help them maintain their focus on classroom activities. By developing these skills, the students will have a successful school year.
