Take A Seat: Small Group and Partner Centered Learning!
Funded Sep 6, 2023Partner centered learning is integral in todays teaching and learning environment. Being able to use your peers for support as well being able to support ones peers allows children to take ownership over their education and empower them in their classrooms.
My students have been able to enjoy the beautiful new rug, comfortable new stools and additional cushions that have allowed for flexible seating. Partnerships in our classroom have been able to spread out and find a comfortable space to practice reading and math skills.

Funded Mar 25, 2022The additional seating for my classroom that this project helped provide for my students has created a learning space that the children in my class will have for years to come and enjoy! The additional seating and colorful rug have made a bright, happy and inviting space for my kindergarten students!
Whether we are working in small groups or whole class, our new flexible seating allows for easy flow and movement for all of my students. These new engaging spaces make it easy for student centered learning.

Funded Oct 5, 2021Teaching independence in the classroom is an imperative goal for any and all primary learner. Having centers that are easy to understand and accessible to the students is extremely important in teaching them academic skills as well and basic skills for their academic careers.
Now having many of the tools you have been able to help me provide my class I am able to seamlessly teach my children to remain task committed, confident, and independent learners!
I have laminated and created many centers that allow them to practice reading skills that will take them through elementary school!”

Kindergarten Reading & Math Independent Learning Journals
Funded Sep 26, 2021The class set of journals for both reading and math have proven to be invaluable! My students were so engaged with the colorful notebooks that reinforced the letters, sounds and number skills that primary learners like my kindergartners need in order to be successful in the classroom and in life! These notebooks allowed for me to reinforce the important foundational skills that my students needed to thrive and become successful readers and have a strong number sense.
As a result of having these journals in my classroom my students will be able to use other fun and important learning resources that I have in my classroom to build on these primary learning skills!”

Math Manipulatives! Colors, Sorting, Counting, Tracing: Centers for Kindergartner's
Funded Oct 10, 2019My students have been able to use the new resources and enjoy them in a meaningful way with exceptional purpose. The children were able to all have their own individual supplies to create a fun and important lesson.
Small group instruction has the most meaning impact on my young students. With all of the supplies that I could not have otherwise afforded, I was able to give my students the best possible learning opportunities, with the best possible practice because of your generosity, and for that, I am grateful.

Becoming a Life Long Learner: Hands on Literacy Centers
Funded Oct 5, 2019The new resources we have received because of your generous donations are being enjoyed by all of my students! The children get excited to see these learning tools and they love showing me their successes!
They are learning their sounds and sight words in a fun way that truly has made the learning experience during center time very gratifying. The children have all had a chance to rotate through each activity. Learning through play make school fun and has provided the opportunity of learning to read more hands on.
