  • Flexible Seating For Gifted Students

    My gifted students were so excited to see our new seating options! One student said this is "cool." Another said, "I love sitting up high."

    Students are using these tables to complete their assignments. They are spreading out and utilizing every inch. They enjoy being able to sit higher to get a better view of the board. Giving them these tables gives them an extra reason to be excited to come to class.

    My students asked where the tables and chairs came from and I explained that a company donated them for us. Thank you so much for providing these for my students!”

  • Let's Get Comfy. Take A Seat

    The students love the choice of not only where they sit but what they sit on! The wobble chairs are the first things to go when students come to my class. It might sound silly, but I think part of the excitement about coming to my class and being on time or even early is that you get the seat of your choice.

    When we started the school year, the wobble chairs hadn't arrived. Everyone wanted to sit at the kitchen table that we have in the classroom. Now that the wobble chairs are here, they grab them and take a seat around the classroom. Just yesterday a group of students grabbed the wobble chairs and sat in a circle to read their book.

    Thank you so much for this opportunity to have additional types of seating in my classroom. I will definitely be adding more to the classroom in the future.”

  • Tape, Pipe Cleaners, Cardboard Oh My!

    Thank you so much for our clear cubby bins! These bins fit perfectly and I have been able to set up an organized area for kids to get the supplies they need to plan, create and test the designs they come up with. The kids are always saying, "Mrs. Steelman, you have everything!" Thanks to your donation I have been able to organize materials and students can clearly see what they need.

    Everyone, students and adults, love the clear cubby bins. Teachers say, "I wish my room looked like this." Everyone is able to see all the cool things we have for students to use in creating their projects.

    Now that we are all setup for success students use these materials on a weekly basis to complete challenges. They pick from a choice board, grab their materials and begin to create.”
