Having supplies and tools in the classroom for students to be successful in mathematics and science are the major building blocks for an effective STEM program! Building the understanding of how to use calculators, compasses and other supplies for core curriculum will help students develop the content and practices that characterize effective mathematics programs (and aspects of science) while maintaining the integrity of academics. Providing the basic tools that students need in order to be successful in the classroom, helps build their confidence and provides them with support in their learning. When students feel confident in their learning because they have the supplies needed to complete assignments/projects, they are one step closer to being successful.

About my class
