    My students are loving all the new sensory activities that you helped donate! We have had the opportunity to explore various textures and incorporate new sensory experiences into our whole-group lessons. As I have mentioned before, many of my students have a difficult time with sensory integration. Certain materials cause them to become overstimulated and can even cause panic and anxiety. By donating you have helped me be able to introduce my students to new materials in a way that is safe and allows them time to self-regulate instead of becoming upset. Sometimes my students need more than pencils, paper, and pictures to stay engaged in activities. These manipulatives allow my students to be more active and hands on during lessons. With these materials my students who have sensory needs and require tactile input would be able to enjoy and participate in lessons in the classroom! I have nonverbal students who want more than their daily icons during story time these materials would be a fun way to let them "talk" about the story and engage with their verbal peers! These materials would be useful for many of my students and I hope you will help them "tell" me all about it!
