To help students understand the more difficult concepts within math class, I want them to use a calculator so they are able to complete simple calculations quickly. My students need to be able to focus on learning harder concepts rather than being stuck on simple calculations. These calculators will help my students gain a better number sense to understand how items work together to help them succeed and flourish within math class. These will be used within our Math of Personal Finance class for students to gain a better understanding of financial independence. I want my students to be able to calculate their paychecks, retirement funds, taxes, etc.
