  Your generous donation to my project enabled me to purchase many story companions, worksheets, and interactive games via the TeachersPayTeachers website. The games and worksheets target a variety of speech and language skills including main idea, vocabulary using context clues, inferencing, formulating sentences, following directions with spatial concepts, and reading skills. The students are engaged and motivated by these new activities, which makes learning so much easier! Students are also able to practice newly learned skills using these educational games. In addition, your donation cut my planning time drastically because I didn't have to create these worksheets and games from scratch. My

• Help Us Expand Our Language Skills!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and for providing my speech students with the Expanding Expression Tool. It is such a helpful resource to use to improve my students' language skills. I love how it is easy to use and user- friendly. It has made assessment, lesson-planning, and data collection much easier.

  My students all have speech and language disorders, and most of them struggle with describing and vocabulary skills. When I assessed baseline skills for describing common items, most of them told me one or two words such as "eat it". With the help of this visual tool, they are able to remember to include the category, function, appearance, parts, location, etc. when describing items. each color of the visual strand represents a concept to include, and it has been extremely helpful. I am already seeing progress after a few sessions. I can't wait to see the progress by the end of the school year.

  Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness! Your donation has enabled me to purchase interactive Boom cards and ready- made materials to use during speech and language therapy. I have purchased materials to target inferencing, story elements, main idea, and vocabulary skills. My students have been engaged in these activities and excited to participate using the interactive activities on the Smartboard.

  Being able to purchase these materials has saved me a great deal time that would have had to be spent preparing materials, and has enabled me to complete my other administrative duties in a timely manner! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!”

• Speech Therapy Requires Clean, Safe Air!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and providing us with air purifiers and filters for the speech room. My students and I feel safer and more comfortable being in the speech room knowing that the air purifiers are removing germs and toxins from the air.

  Initially, my students were not aware of what air purifiers and filters do. We had a lesson about the vocabulary and function of the air purifiers. We also discussed the concept of "donating" as an act of kindness. My students were very grateful for your donations and formulated written thank you letters to share with you.

  We plan to continue to use the air purifiers and filters in the upcoming years. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated and won't be forgotten.”

• Help Students Participate in Virtual Speech Therapy!

  Your donation provided many students at my school with headphones, whiteboards, and dry erase markers. These items have been so helpful during remote speech therapy. The headphones have enabled them to hear me better and make it easier for me to hear them. The students use the whiteboards to practice spelling activities. Students love being able to write on the boards with the marker so it makes spelling activities more motivating and engaging for them. My students and I are so grateful for your generosity and kindness.”

• Help Make Learning to Read More Fun!

  Your donation provided me with many materials to help teach my speech students reading skills and phonological awareness skills. The flip books and decodable readers, as seen in the pictures, have made practicing reading skills more engaging and motivating. Although we are remote right now, once we go back to the school building, the students are going to love playing with the robot letters. This will make learning the letter names and sounds so much more fun and motivating. My students and I are so grateful for your generosity and kindness. • Help Students Hear and Be Heard During Remote Speech Therapy!

  Your donation supplied many students with headphones containing microphones. These have been so helpful during remote speech therapy. They have been able to use them at home and at school to attend remote speech therapy. The speech students are able to hear me better and I am able to hear them better. They also have been helping block out background noise. Instead of struggling to hear each other, we can focus on targeting their speech and language goals. The students and I are so grateful for your generosity and kindness. It is greatly appreciated!
