I would like to expand our health curriculum by introducing more labs and real life experiences. In our community, and around the country, drinking in high school is unfortunately the norm. With our students living on ranches they tend to travel 20-40 miles to and from school and from each others' homes. My hope is to show them the dangers of drinking and driving by doing different activities while wearing "beer goggles." My overall goal would be to completely turn them away from drinking while in high school but if they could see the dangers of driving while impaired at the very least it would be a huge success!
